Blog Post 3

Did you go to see a movie this summer? Write a summary of the movie plot.

  1. Hello Parsley Patriots! I took my kids to their very first movie over the weekend, "Finding Dory." We loved it! You see, Dory suffers from short term memory loss, but she bumps her head and starts remembering things about her childhood including her parents. So with the help of Marlin and Nemo, she sets out to find them, remembering certain things as she travels. She makes it back to the place where she is from and meets Hank the squid, who only has seven tentacles. He helps her try and find her parents. Meanwhile, Marlin and Nemo have lost Dory and are trying to find her.

Along Dory and Hank's adventure, Dory runs in to other fish that she knew as a child, many with a disability, who help her remember.

I won't spoil the ending for those of you who haven't seen it, but if you get a chance to go to the movies, the theme of this one is priceless. All people and creatures, no matter their flaws, are beautiful and have something to contribute to the world.

  4. This Summer I saw the secret life of pets! The character I liked the most was Gidget! Gidget is a really fluffy white dog with a small pink bow.She was very brave and kind to other animals. For example, she found a hawk and the hawk had a mask on. Gidget asked him who he was. Then the hawk took his mask off. Then the hawk told Gidget to come inside for a while. So she went inside. Gidget introduced herself to the hawk. She stepped over some bones. That proves herself very brave and kind because most animals would have been scared of the hawk.

  5. I saw the movie Ice Age Collision course. The gang has to save the world from a meteor. They met some very smart animals that helped them stop the meteor. They saved the world from blowing up.

  6. I saw Ice Age Collision Course. Meteors were crashing on the planet and they saw a giant meteor heading their way. They had to stop it from destroying part of the world. They worked together by putting crystals in a volcano and shooting them into space. The meteor was attracted to the crystals and followed them back into space.

  8. This summer I saw Pete's Dragon. This movie was about a boy named Pete who got stranded in the wild because of a car crash. A dragon found him and saved his life. The boy and the dragon were best buddies and kind of family. After six years in the woods, people discover Pete. They also discover Elliot the dragon and capture him. A lot of bad things happen but in the end Elliot is safe. Pete goes to live with people and Elliot goes to live with dragons.
